How the widgets on the HOME screen work

Having logged in to MV, the HOME screen will display a number of widgets. A typical widget is highlighted below:

On each widget there are a number of active buttons; when each button is hovered over a descriptive box will appear. When clicked on, these buttons allow you to:

- toggle the current view from table to chart and vice versa.

- ‘popout’ the display so that this widget appears in a new window, so that for example it can remain visible on a separate screen whilst you navigate your main screen to a different area of MV. Please note that any changes made to the widget in this popout window will not be retained once the popout window is closed.

- refresh the display for this widget. MV will automatically refresh all the widgets periodically; the progress to the next refresh is indicated by the line progressing across the top of the widget.

- toggle this widget to and from full screen display.

Other capabilities:

Hovering over the lines displayed on the chart widget will display the details of that line.
The grey background behind the widget display indicates settlement periods that have passed; the white background indicates future settlement periods.
The series displayed on the chart can be edited. Right clicking on any part of the series names as displayed across the top of the widget will bring a pop up box showing the list of available series (see below). Tick or un-tick those you wish to display or remove. Click elsewhere on the widget to close the box.
