Data Source tab

The Data Source tab allows you to enter information for your widget, to select a data source for the widget, and to define data source settings. Please note: further information about what is included for each data source is available in the Data Source matrix and in the Glossary of terms used in widgets.

Widget 

Title                        Enter a title for your widget.

Categories                Create a new category (tab), or name a previously created category.  This is the category (tab) where you would like your widget displayed.        

Set as Favourite        Click in the box to include this widget in the Favourites category.

Sharing                From the drop down menu, select who will be able to view this widget .

Data Source

Source                Select a data source for your widget from the drop down menu - please refer to Selecting a Data Source for more information.

Once a data source has been selected the relevant Data Source Settings will be displayed on the right hand side of the pop up Display Settings screen (these settings will vary depending on the data source selected - see Selecting a Data Source).
